A vintage tee gallery inspired by today’s date. This is undoubtedly one of the most iconic t-shirts ever produced. The design emerged in 1977 when the New York State Department of Commerce hired an advertising agency to develop a tourism marketing campaign. Although it’s become synonymous with New York City its original purpose was to represent the entire state like the 1969 “Virginia Is For Lovers” marketing. There’s not a lot of country artists that will make the pages of Defunkd, but Waylon was one of the genres pioneering “outlaws.” Jennings secured his own recording rights and rebelled against the “Nashville sound” which had become soft – straying from its raw honky-tonk roots. A vintage tee gallery inspired by today’s date. On June 5, 1977 the Apple ][  went on sale making it the the world’s first mass produced personal computer. The system was the first to have color graphics, a library of user-friendly software on floppy disks and an easy to use modem.

A vintage tee gallery inspired by today’s date. Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson is widely considered to be baseball’s all time greatest baserunner and leadoff hitter. He holds the MLB record for stolen bases, runs scored, unintentional walks and leadoff homers. Not only was he the fastest, but was also the fastest at being the fastest.
