When people imagine Woodstock, they often picture more than just mud, music, and myth. In the collective imagination, the 1969 festival also exists as a merch moment — a milestone in the history of the concert T-shirt. 2025 is in the books, and these are the highest t-shirt sales on eBay of all of 2025. It was the year of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Butthole Surfers tees, as we saw more of their designs in the bi-weekly top 10 than any other. Vintage Sonic Youth tees also had a huge bounce-back year, along with Smashing Pumpkins – and it’s no surprise the highest-selling t-shirt in 2025 goes to the always top-selling Mosquitohead tees.
