Again, another post about vintage Air Tech Challenge, and this will not be for sure the last one 🙂 Let’s call this post a air tech challenge II 3/4 lava appreciation post. Digged up some well know advertisemnets, and made some better pictures of my pair… the black background accuentuates the strong colors in the colordesign of these atc IIs… Hope you enoy it as much as i do….

In 1990, a cargo ship lost a shipment of more then 60,000 pairs of Nike in the Northeastern Pacific! Years after that loss of shipment, people could still find Nike’s that washed a shore, and these were mostly still wearable, although you needed to find a matching pair. Nike has created some beautiful color combination over the years: The aqua marine combined with the lime colorway. The first pair is a vintage Pegasus racer from 1991. The second marine-lime pair are the vintage Nike Mariah from 1996 By the way, the resemblance between these two pair is striking, they almost look identical
