Hey folks, I know some of you are Champion fans, I'm curious about the history of the classic Champion basketball jersey (i.e., when were they first produced). I sell a lot of 90's era Champion NBA and NCAA jerseys, like these:



I'd never really seen an older one, until I recently came across this one. It's a Southern Miss University jersey with a Blue Bar label stitched on the inner side seam. Essentially the same cut, same Champion patch on the shoulder:



This is the oldest Champion basketball jersey I've seen that still bears a resemblance to the more recent ones. Blue Bar label would be early or mid-70's, correct? Has anyone seen examples of this style of jersey stretching back to the Running Man label era? Feel free to post pictures or examples of other pre-90's pieces.
