Early 70s(?) Led Zep T-Shirt

Post by phinjennings »

Hello all!!!

I have trawled the web to find ID/a price check/ANY INFO WHATSOEVER on this t-shirt. I'll let you know what I know/think about it and hopefully you guys can sort me out with some info.

- I believe it's from the early 1970s for a few reasons: (a) the tag has faded to white, (b) it is endowed with the four symbols linked to their 1971 album (both on the blimp and on the back print), (c) the material has a real patina/feel to it that just feels older than 90s/80s.

- It's got a Backstage Pass print which I believe suggests that it is official merch.

- The material has a really nice heathered effect when held up to the light and is pretty thin compared to modern t's (or at least cheap modern ones) - I suspect this suggests age/quality/both.

Let me know what you think!!!

- Phin x

Awesome tee - decent value but definitely a product of the mid to late 80s.

The Backstage Pass logo is the giveaway...definitely 80's as Jimmy said. Cool shirt though.
