Picked this up this weekend at the flea market.

It's deadstock, screen printed on a "Touch of Gold" t-shirt of the era(never seen one of these not on a 3/4 jersey). The printing lacks the detail of some of the orginals sold on ebay, and the registration of the colors is off. There is no copyright date.

I've seen more than a few outright contemporary fakes of this shirt around for sure, but none like this. What does everyone think? Contemporary fake? Or 1980's parking lot bootleg?

Yeah, I've never seen one not on a jersey either. I think Deadstock vintage parking lot bootleg. What else did the vendor have for sale? How much was it? Did they have more than one? Given you got it at a flea market, I doubt they would go through the extra trouble of finding a genuine vintage brand to fool people...usually they would just print on a modern day shirt.

Got it from a vintage vendor I'm familiar with who doesn't knowingly sell forgeries, just kinda one of those guys that does the flea markets for a hobby and extra cash. Cheap (less than $20 each, there were two).

There are a couple vendors I know of in LA flea markets who actively screen print fakes and this doesn't look like their handy-work. To me it looks like what Johnny65 described as "parking lot bootleg" in his reply to the Anthrax t-shirt question posted a couple months back.
