I've never tried flat drying shirts, I've always hung them up, but I'm interested. Are you just doing it on whatever flat surface table is lying around? indoors or outdoors? how long does it generally take for a shirt and do you need to flip it over midway?

I put it on our dining room table which my wife doesn't like very much, but yeah, flip it over once.

I should have asked before, but is there any problem with drying shirts outside? Is too much sun and heat a bad thing for vintage goods?
