Dead Stock 1984 Harley Tee?

Post by charleyj88 »

Found this tee with no tag or even parts of the tag, but it is a single stitch. Any ideas?

What about Thailand, they produce fakes with single stitch? I found it at Goodwill for $2. Also I found a few for sale, but without Daytona Beach. I live in Orlando so it’s not inconceivable for it make it down here.

Looks real to me but is it a heat transfer?
Roach produced most of the cool looking t-shirt transfers, right?

It's not a silk screen, so yes it's a heat transfer. I don't know much about this Roach guy, this is my first Harley find. :)

I wouldn't say that's it sticky, but it is thin. There are a few cracks in it, but that's it.

So these are some pictures I found. That looks to be a transfer and truer to it’s age.

Tough to say from here I would know instantly if it was in my hands. But its legit. Worth less if a transfer...but that design wouldn't be worth much even if its a screen print.
