Re: What or who is this "Smash Hit Looks That Kill" Tee?
I'm usually able to dig up something about pretty much anything, but I'm getting nothing. There's a cover band called Smash Hit Carnival and they have some merch, but all their stuff has 'carnival' on it. There's a video game called Smash Hit, but there doesn't seem to be any tie-in with a fonzie st...

t shirt construction videos
This may be of no interest to anyone, but I learned a lot watching this video of someone who clearly knows what they're doing put together a double stitch t-shirt from start to finish (they make two in the video, one with a different stitch on the neck): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyjrfT6X3-c A...

Re: CyberPunk vintage video game 90s tee, how Rare they are?
Nice find. Cyberpunk was a desktop RPG, like Dungeons & Dragons. It was released in 1988 by R. Talsorian Games. In 1990 they released a follow up to the original called Cyberpunk 2020. Your shirts are from Cyperpunk 2020, I believe. If you look on Wikipedia, they refer to the original 1988 relea...

Re: Hanes tag with Winterland RN
Ah, cool. Yeah, nothing's been coming up sideways in the last little bit of time, so maybe they worked that bug out. I do remember seeing a recent post by somebody else where everything was sideways, but maybe the poster uploaded them that way. I can't remember what the post was, though, otherwise I...

Re: Hanes tag with Winterland RN
That's a much better title for the post, I should have led with that! I'm not sure what's going on with the photos, but it's weirder than the tag. I don't use a hosting site or anything like that. I attached them to the message in the usual way by uploading them from my laptop through Attachments->A...

recycling some tees
I recently came across this program called Re-Spun from the store Marine Layer. They have stores across the US, it looks like mostly in big cities. If you bring them five tee shirts--they like 100% cotton, but they'll take anything--they'll give you $25 credit for their merch. They'll recycle the sh...

Re: what's wrong with this picture
Here's some shots of the shirt. It's from this listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/125309620352 f.png g.png And here's a Tour Sportswear tag from an '85 Chicago shirt that somebody posted on defunkd a while back. It's hard to tell because the shot of the reverse is bent, but the washing instructions a...

Re: what's wrong with this picture
Check out the RN number. It's Tour Sportswear, which I think is really Winterland. At first I thought the reverse might just be a picture from the wrong tag (I saw it on an eBay listing), but the pic is transparent enough that you can see the Hanes front through the reverse. I didn't think Hanes had...
