Thanks in advance for the answers! - When measuring pit to pit, do you measure from the intersection of the seam from one pit to the other? Or is it the natural "lay" of the pit? (I have some shirts where the seams were off, or the shirt stretched from wash/wear so this might throw off the...

If I see a single line of thread on the outside of a shirt (on the bottom hem or shirt sleeve), but the inside stitching looks like a double stitch - what type of stitching is this, single or double?
