I listed a fairly common style of vintage blanket this week on ebay and it got 14 watchers and 4 bids within 1.5 days. Because of this, I've headed to my local TS 3 times this week to find more inventory.
This week is definitely different.

Re: my prized vintage "los angeles" raiders shirt
I have a couple shirts from the 80s with this tag. 70s would have been "blue bar" and earlier would have had the running man.

Re: Weird, confused, sad eBay marketing effort
Across from Bergdorf's? That's where the Apple store and FAO Shwarz are. So basically they're opening up a building that looks like the Apple store right around the block?
That's sure to confuse some tourists

Re: vintage andy warhol / velvet underground shirt
I doubt this seller cares much for vintage clothes. These are some of the worst descriptions ever: http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-COMIX-ART-T" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... 0388756394 "I should mention that the shirt looks blue in the photo, but it is white." Th...

Re: vintage andy warhol / velvet underground shirt

Re: 1930s Hudson Bay Company Wool Point Blanket
That's right. In the original blankets 4 full stripes was the best that you could get. This particular blanket is only 3.5 stripes or "points". Nowdays the bay sells 6 point and 8 point blankets as well. I personally have a strong preference for the more busy Pendelton blankets, particular...

1930s Hudson Bay Company Wool Point Blanket
More random clothing. I've been into trade blankets/point blankets for a while now but have yet to find anything truly special. These have a long an storied past and are very much part of North America's colonial history. For those of you unfamiliar with Hudson's Bay Company, they were making wool t...
