Re: To auction or not to auction?
Looking at the last 90 days of listings it looks like Stormcrow had that shirt and similar shirts up for $199-250 and not a single sold, at least not on ebay. Are you sure that shirt sold for that price? If you want to see how much attention it really draws, you can always post it for a low start bi...

Hey I posted a similar topic ebay-advice-f18/vintage-sources-t13.html but only got advice from Mr. Bubba (thanks again!). I might check Midwest out next time I go out east. If you are coming to southern california I know a couple places you can check out.

Re: 1989 Wallace and Gromit
Brings back memories. I used to work at a store in a mall in the late 90's that used to sell that exact same shirt. Something about a man and his cheese loving dog. And penguins too. I'd say its not worth more than $20 (after checking on Terapeak). Here are some completed listings: http://cgi.ebay.c...

1992 is fairly late, definitely past 3D-Emblems heyday. As evidenced by the purple shirt.

Re: Italy
Never had a problem shipping to Italy, but I get very few customers from there. Most internationals are UK, France, Germany. Some in Thailand and Malaysia. Worst experience was with a Greek buyer, leaving a negative of course with no contact beforehand or after. I've had most problems shipping items...

Re: 3-D Emblem T-Shirts.
Truckers Only, ESPECIALLY! I'm building up a little collection that i'm posting up for high prices. They are just too dear to me to auction. This one just sold for $65. Does this shirt glamorize truck stop prostitution? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360199928673" onclic...

3-D Emblem T-Shirts.
I am looking for more info on 3-D Emblem t-shirts. They are as you likely know famous for their 80's Harley t-shirts. However I'm most a fan of their non Harley stuff, and now started collecting it (saving that discussion for a different thread "getting high on your own supply" ). I can't ...

eBay alternatives
Anyone tried any? Is there a better online venue for selling vintage clothing? Or even better a venue that focuses specifically on vintage clothing? Currently I'm migrating all my miscellaneous vintage bric-a-brac and kitsch items to Etsy, and using ebay only for selling vintage clothes and weekly a...
