Vintage Jaws Ringer Tee-real or bootleg

Post by pappy »

Just came across this shirt at an estate sale that had tons of vintage clothes. It's single stitch, adult size and slightly off center. The graphics are solid...but there is NO trademark.
Did all original Jaws shirts have trademarks? I'm reluctant to put it on ebay for fear of getting violated..any thoughts on its legitimacy?

Definitely not all, here's one that doesn't:

But yours is probably a vintage bootleg, a ton of bootleg Jaws tees were sold via the back of Rolling Stone magazine in the 70s.

Not sure if eBay would kill it, there are a ton of bootlegs floating around on there.

What size is the pit to pit btw? just want to make sure it's not a more modern ringer

Pit to pit is 19 inches. It has a single stitch hem, low quality I would guess because it a bit narrow and curls up. Everything else I bought at the sale was 60s and 70s.
