They are marks. Looks like part of the original printing.
A printing anomaly, misprint or could this have happened later? Color of marks looks/feels the same as the rest of the shirt.

It has all the hallmarks of a true Mosquitohead tee. I have yet to see that particular design being faked.
One sold on eBay about a year ago for $1000. I would price it at $2000 WITH Offers and see what rolls in, so you can get a feel for the nibbles. There isn't another one currently for sale which is another plus in your favor.
There's a bit of damage but the size is optimal.

Holy smokes, I also have this t-shirt. I'm thinking '89 or '90? I bought mine at a store in El Cajon CA called Gamma Gamma. I've been looking online for another one for years. Someone told me it was Vivienne Westwood design which is why my searches have come up emptyhanded until now...
Mine also has a few small holes in it.
I'm going to get mine out of storage, I have it folded and sealed in a large Ziploc bag. I'm thinking I should have it framed...
