Deadstock Incubus

Post by Bratwurstdealer »

Hey!

I found these two deadstock Incubus, apparently from 2002 and 2004. The 2002 one has the blue Tennessee River tag, can‘t see the one of the other shirt. I paid a very good price and I‘m considering if I should keep them in their package or if I should open them and check for dryrot. First time finding deadstock, are these valueable?

Oh man this is a tough call. Especially since I've heard dry rot happening to tees from the 00s. On the other hand, keeping them pristine in the package could pay off someday.

Is one of the packages open?

I was too curious and took them both out. One of the packages was already half open and the other one I was able to open without damaging the package. Both are safe but the 2002 one has some kind of chemical smell to it which might be better to wash out

2004 one also has a tag sewn over a Tennessee River which I haven‘t seen before

You‘re welcome. Apparently used on some merch in the mid 2000s, always sewn over generic tags.

Another example for that Signatures Network tag:
