The tag looks off - looks more plastic than woven? I can't tell. Also, it would be weird for that tag to be used - '79 there was no branded SS tag, and the one you have on this shirt didn't come out until 1983-ish. It could have been reprinted but some red flags here. The print looks like a cross between screen printing and a heat transfer, or maybe made to look like a heat transfer. lol.
