Hi everyone,
​I would love to get a price check and authenticity thoughts on this vintage late 80s/early 90s Mosquitohead Janis Joplin T-shirt.
​I purchased this T-shirt at a vintage clothing store 20 years ago and have kept it ever since.
​It features the rare original orange/brown satin woven tag (Size L).
The graphic is an all-over print with classic bleach tie-dye.
​Condition:
There is some minor loose stitching, but overall in great vintage condition with nice fading.
​Any insights on its current market value would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey there! The fact that the branded tag is there likely means it's late 90s, even early 00s.

The OG ones from the 90s usually have a Hanes or Stedman tag.

You can also see that yours has double-stitched sleeves.

The OGs are currently only going for $300-500, so not sure what this one would fetch, but likely not more than $300.

​Just for context, I'm posting from Japan. I bought this at a vintage clothing store here in Japan about 20 years ago (around 2006), so your timeline about it being a late 90s/early 00s piece makes perfect sense.
