legit check champion blue bar

I'm a bit hesitant because it dont say 'Made in USA' on the back of the tag.A few of the photos were taken while the shirt was wet.

Good concern to have, but it could even be buried under the seam - problem is, I don't have any shots of the back of Champion tags. And I do know there are some Champion themed repros, but gut says this is ok.

Anyone with actual knowledge lol

I had a Japanese friend help me legit check this piece, and here are the main red flags "we" found:
-There is no "Made in USA" marking on the back of the tag.
-For a shirt that is supposedly nearly 50 years old, there are zero signs of age-the stitching isn't frayed or unraveled, the threads look brand new, and the fabric feels like a modern release.
-All Champion shirts we've found so far with "Camp Kern" graphics (even with different prints) turned out to be modern releases or repros.
-Recent reissues feature a tag sewn onto the bottom hem (sample photo attached "darthmouth"), and this shirt shows clear signs of having a tag re-stitched at the hem as well (circled in red in the photo).
Our conclusion is that this is definitely not true vintage. Hope this information helps, and I’d love to hear the admin's thoughts on this!

Thanks for the update. Someone in Japan is much better suited to comment on these - Japan does well-crafted repros/reimaginings.

Just now I reverse image searched the print, there's no other hits, which is odd either way - for it being real or it being modern.

Were you able to find any other examples?

Good sleuthing!
