Hello everyone,
I would really appreciate some help authenticating this Brockum Worldwide Made in China tag.
The shirt is a vintage hip-hop. The back of the tag says “Printed in Australia” and “Sydney, Australia” - importantly, it says SYDNEY, not SYCNEY.
The copyright line on the print appears to read something like:
© 1993
I personally believe the shirt itself may be from the late 90s, even if the copyright date says 1993.
My main concerns are about the tag details:
On the BROCKUM logo, the thread pattern doesn’t seem to show the usual “holes” or broken texture on letters I’ve seen on some authentic examples.
The M size letter looks slightly oddly placed to me, maybe not close enough to the bottom edge compared with some examples I found on the forum.
The sizing is unusual for a tagged M:
23.2" pit to pit x 26.8" length
So it fits more like a boxy L / short XL.
The shirt is double stitch, which I understand can be normal for Brockum MIC / ACME Australia, but I’d like confirmation.
The print and fabric look naturally aged to me, and the shirt has a faded grey/black body
I’m mainly trying to know whether this tag looks like a legitimate Brockum MIC / ACME Australia tag, or one of the newer fake/repro tags.
Any opinion would be very helpful, especially from people familiar with Brockum Made in China / ACME Australia tags.
Thanks a lot.

There is an improved Brockum MIC tag, size M would be rare for a real one, one thing you could try is finding another one.Urgo wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2026 2:15 am Hello everyone,

I can spot some issues, but the tag is warped in the photo.
The biggest concern is the clearly faded print/shirt and pristine tag.

Thanks for your awnser.
I've tried finding a similar tee, it was impossible.
Maybe it's too good to be true.
