Do original pieces of this shirt exist or are they only reprinted?

Great Q. I did some digging, it looks like they do exist! Albeit rare - there's one on worthpoint that was sold in 2013, which kinda predates the fake t-shirt explosion - claiming to be a giant tee

"1994 Vintage 1994 Metallica Long Sleeved T-Shirt Size Large by Giant Birth School Metallica Death on back of shirt. Front is the classic picture of the bands faces and arms. Size Large 100% Preshrunk Cotton Measures 22" across chest, 30" length and arms measure 25" length. Hard to Find Shirt... Get it while you can!"

I also found one on t-shirt slayer from 2011 - that looks like it could be a vintage boot?

I appreciate the response I own one the one in the picture I posted, but im certain its a reprint i didn’t know any better at the time but i think its a really cool shirt still.

I think you're right, I did see a ton of fake ones longsleeve ones. Where did you get it?

I got it from a local vintage store in az here are some other pictures they provided. Im pretty sure its a reprint but this place does sell authentic shirts. Either the reprint fooled them too or they knew and hoped someone who didn’t know better (me) bought it. There are pretty good fakes but i did some digging on here and now I know the difference between a real and fake metallica tag I will definitely use this website to my advantage from now on!
I was curious though if there was any authentic versions of the shirt, but they seem very, very, very hard to find. This shirt seems to a very common reprint.

You're right. The tshirt in your pictures is a fake. I've seen the long sleeves with giant tag, and it should be legit.
