I'm experienced in selling and buying through apps like Vinted, with a positive reputation. I recently made my first two sales through eBay, and with the second, I had a problem with the buyer. He accuses me of misleading the listing because the shirt doesn't fit him. His main focus is that I listed the tee as follows:
"Seller listed the item on the “about this item” section as “Size(Men’s): XL; Size Type: Regular; Category: Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Specialty > Vintage > Men's Vintage Clothing > T Shirts"
I get the feeling he didn't read the item description, which includes the shirt's measurements. The first message I receive already contains threats that my account will be suspended by eBay. At first, this made me doubtful, but on the other hand, I'm aware that he had the measurement information in the description. I don't think I can be held responsible for him not having thoroughly reviewed the shirt's description. I'm not entirely sure how this type of dispute resolution works through eBay, but he's already filed a complaint, and I've responded with two messages. I'm not entirely sure where this will lead, I would find it very unfair on eBay's part to penalize my account in some way because I'm a user with very few votes. I'll keep you updated.
Re: eBay irresponsible buyer
The good news is that, in my recent experience with eBay, they don't always automatically side with the buyer anymore.
Can you link to the auction page, so I can take a look at it.

Re: eBay irresponsible buyer
Yeah this is a case of him not understanding vintage sizing, people see an XL tag and they think it's XL by today's standards. But I noticed that you have L in the title, too. I usually put the modern size there.
In future listings, I would put something along the lines of:
TAG: XL (VINTAGE SIZE, PLEASE GO BY MEASUREMENTS AND VINTAGE SIZING IS DIFFERENT)
MODERN SIZE: SMALL/MEDIUM - (Measurements 18" x 24.5")
I'm not sure how eBay will rule in this case! But it is tough to completely deny returns, didn't use to be allowed. If they buy it using PayPal as the source, or their credit card, they can usually win the case.

Re: eBay irresponsible buyer
Thanks for the advertising tips Jimmy, maybe providing more information to the possible buyers makes things easier.
So I reported to eBay his negative purchase comment and himself as a user. A few days ago, when the case resolution date arrived eBay considered to closed the case without a refund... thank god! But it doesn't end here...he already opened a new refund request, that I've already replied mentioning that the previous case has already been resolved without a refund, so...let's see how all this continues. It seems that he will insist until they agree with him.

Re: eBay irresponsible buyer
Well, eBay force me to refund the buyer...don't understand how if the first report was solved without refund. I even mentioned about that first case resolution... eBay's customer guarantee is awesome...
Today was the resolution date for the second request, I did't know I could report this request as unfair until this morning that I received the resolution reminder. I've opened a new case and they replied me that they placed the case on hold 5 days when I've got 4 natural days to do the refund, it has no sense to study the case after I do the refund. Perhaps eBays gonna do the refund of the refund??

DOH. Yeah, that's eBay. But I think now that PayPal is separate, at some point, by them or credit card company, they get forced to process the refund.

Re: eBay irresponsible buyer
Sooo, cannot start the refund process cause the refund request is on hold due to I don’t agree with this new open case, but they suggested/forced to get the return label cause if I don’t customer can get the tee and the money. I tried on USPS but when I’m gonna pay cannot set my billing address, the website just let me set a US address; UPS just let me get a label with Spain as the sender country; FedEx ask me for a personalized letterhead and sign but it does not allow me to upload the files. Any other option here? The other option is that customer get the label and then I’ll pay him the shipping costs but he has no paypal, has zelle instead, but I cannot use Zelle in Spain. I’m just wondering that if he is interested in all this refund stuff, wouldn't it be his responsibility to pay for the shipping costs?
