Is this a legit Viva La Bam T-Shirt??

Post by SoGolden »

Hi! So recently I purchased this “vintage” Viva La Bam shirt off of Depop. The seller said it was true vintage. But now I can’t help but to feel like this a bootleg shirt. I’ve been wanting this shirt forever. I finally splurged and I think I got scammed. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Pretty sure the tag is 2000s era, are you concerned it's a modern fake? or a bootleg that was printed many years ago?

I found others on tags in that era, one on the same tag as yours - all with that worn background effect. Interestingly, none of the patterns in that effect seem to match - yours has a very distinct notch out of the pattern under the "BAM" - A. So likely something that was just randomized during the printing process.

But generally, everything else matches.

I mean, if it's of the era, I don't think it being a bootleg potentially hurts the value - it doesn't appear as though any of them have licensing.
