Authenticity Check - Vintage Metallica Enter Sandman Shirt

Post by testrella13 »

Hey Defunkd community.. I'm hoping you might be able to legit check/give your two cents on this Vintage Metallica Enter Sandman shirt. XL measures 24x29. Lots of fakes out there, so hoping to double check.
1) Does this print check out?
2) Tag look legit?

I've attached several pictures, but happy to take others if needed. Any help provided is greatly appreciated.

This print can be a tricky one because there are a ton of differences between true ones. Likely because it's such an intense print, there are multiple backs, so possibly done at several different times. There's also usually a ton of wear on the front if it was worn to any degree.

The back on yours doesn't seem as realistic as the others I spotted, but again, different day, different printer perhaps.

For the record, here are a couple of fakes:

I think it's a-ok, anyone else?

(Please note: Legit checks I do in this forum should not be considered 100% conclusive; I'm simply giving a gut reaction based on the limited information provided.)
