Hello all, grateful to find this space!
Looking for some of your expertise on this one, and what value it may have. I see many tag variations online on various platforms, but none with a backstage pass tag or logo on front. This is 50% cotton, 50% polyester, made in Canada.
Shirt has some fade, and some cracking in spots on design, but no other damage to the cotton or shirt itself.
Pit to pit measures flat 23"
Pit to bottom hemline measures flat 18.5"
Would appreciate any insights you can offer. TIA!

Re: 1990 Backstage Pass Red Hot Chili Peppers
Off the top of my head, this one is setting off alarm bells.
The odd, sewn-in Backstage Pass 2 tag.
And the fact I can't find any other BSP ones.
Some issues with the print when compared to other known originals.
Maybe it's some rarer BSP variant - but we've picked up other instances where counterfeitters got creative with BSP logos that shouldn't be on prints.
Have you been able to find another one of these anywhere?

No, not so far. You're thinking this is a knock off, then? Thanks for taking the time to look into this!

Re: 1990 Backstage Pass Red Hot Chili Peppers
After checking in detail, I just saw the oas backstage tag sewn outside, usually inside, from the basic material this is from the screen star tag / fotl tag. On average, backpas tags usually take from hanes tag material. then checked again from the material is already hairy, old screen printing usually if it is exposed for a long time will crack or erode while this is thick and in the backhit screen printing section there are white spots indicating that the fine hairs appear and are overwritten by the screen printing then the front image is also thick and shifted. with this I decided that this is a new print from a vintage blank tee.
