Hi everyone,

I recently picked up a Metallica "Birth School Death" shirt and would appreciate some help identifying whether this is likely an original 90s print.

The neck tag has been removed, but the stitching area suggests there used to be a black tag (possibly Brockum or Metallica official).

Details:

Single stitch sleeves and hem
Natural fade to dark grey / sun-faded black
Sleeve skull print present
CMYK halftone front print with visible dot structure
Print sits into the fabric rather than on top
No modern glossy ink feel
The fabric has soft thinning consistent with age rather than modern blank feel.

Does this look consistent with a 90s original (Brockum / Giant / Euro license), or more likely a later reprint?

Def. Brockum or Metallica Brockum tag.

Looks okay to me - initially, there was a fake version of this that was blatantly obvious, but then came an improved version.

Anyone else?

Sadly, when a tag is missing like that too it's an attempt to cover it up, since it's been previously exposed as being fake.

Can you please add a photo of the back of the shirt and the copyright so we can have a record of it?
