Re: Suppliers
speaking for myself, this is more of a hobby and passion than a business. as such, i can't afford to buy in the quantity that most wholesalers offer. I can only do like 100 lbs worth of stuff at a time. even that's a stretch.
Re: Suppliers
You go first!
I usually hit the thrifts. I do buy in bulk from Mid West in El Paso, but I have stuff shipped to me rather than going to the site.
We're still waiting on Crazy Bubba to get us a list of mills to hit up!

Re: Nike Blue Tag tee- Jordans?
awesome stuff, thanks Chase
i found a lot of cool Nike stuff in their company Annual Report. They have them archived all the way back to 1983. Interesting reading- as you can imagine, everything changed with the success of Air Jordans.

Italy
I'm done with shipping to Italy. I always seem to have problems with anything that goes there. Even if it arrives, the buyer is usually dissatisfied.
Any other countries you've X'd off your list? I'm thinking of cutting out Espana as well.

Re: eBay alternatives
I sell books and movies etc on Amazon. It's kind of a "meh" selling venue- not much excitement or unique stuff. It's easy to list stuff and easy to collect, but really not all that much fun or that much money for that matter.

Re: 1976 Montreal Olympics Adidas Track Jacket
an item is only worth what someone else will pay for it. since it's not a commodity (that is, something with an agreed upon price, such as gas or corn)- it's really alllll just luck. with a unique item, there is no floor or ceiling, really. it's like the auctions of Jesus appearing in a grilled chee...
