In this early eighties photo, McEnore wears his Nike Challenge Courts (and some Sergio Tacchini’s Short’s and shirt) Here is a better picture of these vintage challenge courts. Extremely nice pair: great colors; love the mesh toe box, and a great 3/4 ankle support… you can already see the family resemblances with the tech challenge line that would come out a few years later

Seinfeld loves his sneakers.. in the first 4-5 seasons, he wore almost every episode another pair of sneakers… the Aj Vi sports blue, the Air Trainer III, VII olympics, huaraches, sonic mid flights, he wore it all… Instead, George, he always had a pair of Blue Cortez on his feet (pictures thanks to Wally) Seinfeld: a great comedian, and a Nike fanatic.

The Air Tech Challenge, the first out of the series, I consider the best… to bad, it is hard to find these shoes in a deadstock condition.. once in a while they show up, but if the condition is ok, the money also… But nevertheless, I was able to obtain the lows, in DS condition…. again: in stead of retro’ing hybrids, Nike could consider doing a retro of these…
