Re: Hanes tag

Here's the tag he spoke of - classic 80s Hanes tag, which specified different types of fabric along the blue stripe - "poly-cotton" or in this case "100% cotton".

Re: Hanes tag

I got the above tag inquiry through email and coincidentally just received another Hanes question: Hey there. Recently, I purchased a similar-looking vintage KISS t-shirt(see attachment for the design) off eBay and when it was shipped to my house, I realised the tag wasn't removed. In fact, it reads...

Re: 80's Adidas tennis shorts

Some Adidas shorts were making a comeback in 2008, but they are seasonal, so you might have to wait until summer rolls around again. I posted about it here: http://www.defunkd.com/blog.vintageaficionado/2008/07/11/who-wears-vintage-short-shorts/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Sinead O'Connor- Late 80's

$99 is a good starting point....same price as the other one for a better shirt. you can always lower the price if it doesn't move.

Re: Choose One T-Shirt From Your Collection...

the 1980s tee designers loved putting the word "back" on the back.

Re: Sinead O'Connor- Late 80's

agreed - might be a fixed price situation. put it in your store - just make sure you don't have any andrew dice clay t-shirts in there at the same time.

Re: Vintage Ralph Lauren

It's not that easy - not once in my thrift store journeys have I ever found an RL item. A lot of it was really expensive back then - definitely wasn't as mass produced as the majority of RL stuff.

Re: Vintage Ralph Lauren

Haha thankfully it wasn't 8-track.

Use the search bar on the blog side and enter "ralph lauren" you can see lots past items fetching crazy prices, like a painters cap for a couple of grand.

Re: To auction or not to auction?

Or save it for store inventory - higher fixed price and put a best offer button. It's Canadian punk...you might have to wait for the right person to come along.
