Re: Vintage T-shirt Storage and Maintenance

I've never tried flat drying shirts, I've always hung them up, but I'm interested. Are you just doing it on whatever flat surface table is lying around? indoors or outdoors? how long does it generally take for a shirt and do you need to flip it over midway?

Re: eco-friendly poly mailers

Thanks, Jimmy. I'm not on the gram, but I'll check it from someone else's account.

eco-friendly poly mailers

I'm running out of mailers and am hoping to buy something that isn't so nasty for the landfill as the last bunch I was using. Has anyone found any reasonably priced eco-friendly ones that they like?

thanks,
Mark

Re: shoddy construction

Thanks, Jimmy. I appreciate the help. Good to know that all that bunching stuff is normal. Why are the deadstock/unwashed Hanes tags so crisp? Is it just that the fibers are packed so tightly and then they loosen up as they get washed? Some brands are just soft, whether they're deadstock or not, lik...

shoddy construction

here's a shirt that doesn't have enough value to fake, although everything Rush is good in my book [I'm not sure why the photos are showing up sideways, when I uploaded them they are vertical on my end...weird] full.jpg tag fr.jpg tag rv.jpg The tag is super crisp, so the shirt doesn't seem to have ...

Re: cradle of filth

That's a bummer about the reply from M&O. The history of these shirt businesses are so vague, somebody could do a good book about it--although maybe that would only appeal to you, me and a couple dozen other peeps. The back of that shirt is classic cradle of filth. Huge text meant to offend, may...

Re: Vintage Yes concert t shirt 1970's?

Obviously this was posted long ago, but that shirt has some very cool stuff about it. There's a lot going on in and around that photo. The pic is almost definitely from a concert on June 5, 1971 at the Berlin Sportpalast. Check out the lighting in the arena and how they incorporated it into the Yes ...
