They used to be of very high quality and are sought after by various granola heads and grad school hipster types- as well as frat boys. The newer stuff (ie smaller label) is not as rugged and of cheaper quality. (see also The North Face) I always look out for Synchilla jackets- the Japanese love tho...

I sold one back in the day for $40 something. I think if you don't mind waiting a bit, $39ish is the right price.

i'll have to try buying from Midwest in 200 lb bales. Do you order a specific grade of shirts? i usually ask for what they call "old and thin"
