Star Wars Walmart Shirts

Post by Cara51408 »

Found these at Goodwill but can’t find any comps of the gray tank.

Any pricing help for both?

Thanks in advance!

Is there a date on the back of that hangtag?

The tank will always be a tough sell.

There is not. Both hangtag backs look like this

That's helpful actually, the Giant logo - strong evidence these are from the 1990s and not beyond.

StarWars.com came to be in late 1996 - Giant folded in 2001 I beleive, so it's somewhere in between!

A similar one found on eBay puts it at 1999.

Either way, keep the tags on and stash it away for a rainy day. You might want to be careful of dry rot, though, for the black one. Might be a good idea to give it a soak in water (whilst holding the tags carefully above) and then lay it flat to dry to neutralize the pH.

Thank you! I will definitely soak the black one to try to prevent dry rot.

What would you guesstimate the value to be on them?

Right now not a ton, minimal for the sleeveless.

It's the AOP and big face, or Liquid Blue 90s SW tees that do well. Might be in the $50 range, I'd just hold on to it.
