Looks to me like a manipulation of the tag to hide that it's counterfeit. Like, how does a tag end up like that in real life? Yet the rest of the shirt looks perfectly fine?

Unfortunately, this shirt is fake, and you've been duped. From the picture, it's clear that this is a 100% fake product from Thailand, and it's widely available. If you'd like to see the original, you can find it online.
