So, heres the deal. I found this among other band t-shirts from when I was younger and tought to sell them on Vinted, searching for ideas on how much to price them I stumbled upon the dilemma of the Nine Inch Nails The Downward Spiral t-shirt that I it's posted a lot here, and seeing stellar prices on Ebay I asked ChatGPT for help.

The AI told me that the original is going for high prices but judging by the tag mine is a reprint and I could still sell it for like 80-100 euros. So I put the shirt on Vinted. Literally seconds after I was stormed with question asking for details, the writing on the lower part of the shirt, the tag, and then someone bought it. Only to back away a few minutes later, so, back to all the questioning, I tought, I will hide it for now.

People having seen the shirt not available for purchase anymore asked if it was still available and a someone offered me more than 100 if I was able to sell to him instead. So I took a moment and start searching because I got a little bit frustrated that maybe I'm giving away something of more value than I tought it was. So here I am, would like to know if this shirt is actually the real one anyone is so excited about or not, and eventually what is the right price to sell it for real (not to leave it on Vinted or Ebay forevere with a foolish price):

It looks legit to me - there are fake Spirals on fake All Sport tags, but it's usually Pro Weight, not Max. That said, new fakes come fast and furious. But the print seems to check out. Anyone else?

Legit ones in the last three months have gone from $1500-1800 - confirmed sales.

Thing is, if there are NEW fake ones I think I'm safe to say this one is not one of them, I have it at least since 2007, probably even before, not later. The problem now is...if it sells that high Vinted it's not a good idea, right?
Where could I safely sell it for less, let's say 1000, but even 700-800 or whatever the offer from a collector could be. Thing is I stumbled upon something I don't really understand so maybe its not a good idea to sell it for less, I love that I can earn more from something that doesn't really have any more value for me but it does for others, but I don't want to make it too much of a fuss either...

Yes, 2007 is far before the counterfeit tag era, so no worries then.

My bad, sorry, so it appears as though there's a rarer variant of this t shirt - that has a different back "glitch" design.

I've attached it. Those seem to be the ones I mentioned. Yours sells in the $600 range.
