1990s Grateful Dead T-Shirt with SHIP OF FOOLS graphic I CANNOT find anywhere

Post by r0see77 »

Hi! I’ve had this shirt for quite a bit and could never find another one like it online (tried Google Lens, keyword searches, etc). I've seen plenty of Ship of Fools t-shirts that have a somewhat similar vibe of graphic but never the same one. What I was able to discern is that it seems to be 1990s (potentially 1992 specifically from the graphic signature) based on the fruit of the loom tag style, single stitch of the hem, and signature on the graphic. I'm not the biggest Grateful Dead fan so I was eventually looking to sell, but I wanted to gather the most information possible beforehand. I tried posting in the Grateful Dead reddit but the posts got taken down for whatever reason. Thanks in advance for any help!

Pit to Pit is 21 inches and Length from bottom of collar is 25.5 inches.

Beauty, thanks for sharing. Yeah looks to be the bootleg version of the common one. I couldn't find it either, but GD boots are SOOOO diverse, new ones pop up all the time, their fanbase made a ton of them in small batches for decades and decades.

The max the licensed version gets is about $250-300 - I can't see it topping that, especially with the chunk out of the neck. That's a major issue. Probably get in the $100 range?

Yeah that makes sense. But pretty awesome to not find it anywhere else; I love small batch things, bootleg or not! Thanks for the info and help:)
