In terms of material, this is an authentic B&G product, and the print is very good. After searching the internet, there are only black t-shirts with the same backhit but a different front. This is the first time I've seen this article and so many strange RHCP articles. On the other hand, I suspect, it could be printed now on vintage t-shirts using black references (tshirtslayer.com)

My tendency is to refer to the new print, because only on this website does it appear
I can't claim this is authentic vintage, because nowadays so many strange things come out.

Thanks for your analysis! Indeed, the only model with this design I could find is on a black t-shirt (seen on TShirtSlayer). I bought it from someone who also had several other tees, including a Playboy Marilyn Monroe 1994, a Rage Against the Machine "We Support Our Troops" tee, and a superb Slipknot Iowa tee. The RHCP was clearly the newest of the lot...
