So I‘d like to know if this Metallica tee is original from the 80s. Original owner says is from his father bought in USA on the 83 tour. From my point Of view, DS all over the tee… when DS arrived before on Europe. Let me know what do you think guys. The meassures are 20,5 x 27.

Feels like all the ones I've ever seen are on a SS tag. Usually a backprint too. This DS collar and DS everywhere else I don't think existed in the 80s. As you mentioned there are DS arms and hems in the 80s.

If you look at the print compared to as SS one you'll see it's more true to the actual album art - look at the half tone effect on the hand and edge of the hammer - so I think it's a reissue using improved printing methods.
