Star Wars 70/80s?

Post by Lockbox »

Odd One, No Dating and I don’t believe a tag has been removed. The print is mint but the top is stained as if someone’s mopped up a toilet seat. It’s single and tag has made in the USA so fingers crossed

Def 70s. It's likely a bootleg; it appears to be a copy of the heat transfer print design that resembles it.
Maybe sold from the back of a magazine in the late 70s.

That tag is FOTL, pre screen stars, it's what would eventually be branded with SS tags in 1980.

Where is the stain?

I might be interested in it, collect SW tees.

It’s hard to see in photos, I’ll try to take better ones today for you. However, there’s light yellow stains on the arms and around the waist. It could most likely come out but I don’t have the best track record with ringers and spot treatment lol.

Yeah, tricky to stain remove with ringers. Looks to be deadstock tho! Let me know if you have a price in mind.

I’ve added some better close ups of the staining. I apologise in advance but I’m going to ask you what you think a fair price is, keeping condition in mind. 70s is currently outside of my knowledge, with the only somewhat similar listing up for $1400 and even though it has some interest I’m not aiming for it.

:o I'd say give it a try on eBay and see if you can get that, I don't think it's realistic, but don't want to sway yer opinion.

Thinking more in the $150 range.
