Have you ever seen any of those that use the “basic color” tag? Because most of them use the “Bay Island” tag.

For tags, you can probably use any material, especially for tour clothes, as long as it matches the year of the tour, while this shirt is relatively new and not vintage. It doesn't matter what material and tag it is as long as the shirt is original.

Have you ever seen any of those that use the “basic color” tag? Because most of them use the “Bay Island” tag.

I saw none of cc merch released on as color tags since their early merch days, not from the webstore, not from their tour merch table, 99,9% bay island is legit, 60% of satin gildan ultra/heavy is legit, the rest is fake because asian guys found the very same gildan blanks (or any other blanks for that matter) from the same era and put a new print on 'em, some of 'em sellers and their friends got offended and mad when I genuinely asked :shrugs:

There are two on ebay from 2009 who got a crystal castles shirt at a concert and its on tultex, the real deal. There is one on depop from the orginal owner who got it on a tultex and a different design to the two on ebay. There is also a couple people talking about the tultex being he orginal one in 2009 on the sub reddit for cyrstal castles.

Yeah there is a few more discussions about tultex but you really have to dig deep, if these shirts become super mainstream, authenticating them will become a nightmare! Worse than aphex twin

I wanted to ask if anyone knows what all tags were the doe deer ep shirts were printed on? I heard there mostly bay island….. but then I heard they were also printed on American apparel blanks as well ? If anyone could educate me on this I’d appreciate it!!
