Usually when we see a xdrugfreepridex claims it is an older Southern California straight edge tee, for obvious reasons. Question is, who made these? A crew? Some socal dude for himself? Anyone seen one of these before or have further info?

In the Eyelid 7″, the bass player is wearing one. I’d say circa 1997-1998? No idea who made them, but they weren’t around for long. Probably inspired by Timm Macintosh’s POISON FREE shirts.
I made them with Brian Melville from Eyelid. My band Contervail and Eyelid were playing a lot of those together at the time and we came up with the idea based off the logo from the AAA Southern California Automobile club http://tv.trb.com/extras/ktla/roseparade2010/sponsor-aaa.gif
