Free Stuff! Tell Your Friends …

The other day, we blew by our 5000th post (jeez louize …), and we want to thank you for being there with us. Over the years, we’ve seen our traffic surge, but we want to go bigger after 5000. This is where you come in. We want you to tell one friend about TeeTillDeath. That’s it. Just tell one friend. Of course, there is a bonus. The person who comes up with the best way to tell one friend gets a prize. And not just some crap. You get some good stuff. The prize will include a stack of tees from this bin …

Vintage Free Stuff! Tell Your Friends … tee

And just so it’s not completely random, we’re going to make sure one of those tees is a New Age Records Mouthpiece longsleeve. That’s right, ebay gold!! The prize will also include a TTD shirt (whatever size you want), a stack of records, some stickers, some … well, whatever else I can get my hands on.

So here’s how you enter: tell one friend. Yeap, tell one friend. And then get some evidence: photo, screenshot, charcoal drawing, link, … We’ll gather all the results, come up with the top 3 most ingenious methods and then let YOU vote on who did the best.

A few stipulations. Don’t do anything illegal or stupid. Keep it clean, and have fun with it.

Some suggestions that’ll put you in the top 3 for sure: hire an airplane to skywrite the URL, write the URL in sand at the beach, have your children draw a refrigerator picture or sidewalk chalk with a TTD mention, …

Some suggestions that’ll barely get a passing grade: retweet this message, posting a link on a message board, reblog this post on tumblr, post a facebook status, … You can do better than this!

Have at it. You’ve got one week from today to submit that evidence. Then voting begins. Go for it, and thank you again for all your support!

Man, when I’m not trying to sell my XXXL Bane T’s to folks(Really. I Really have one. It’s a flipping bed sheet), I show everybody who’s interested in punk T’s the site. I’ve showed at least 100 people from Ian, from razors in the night to Fred, the old guitarist from Psychic TV to just about anyone who will look at the computer.

The next time I make it to Marblehead, I’ll make sure to stop in your shop. I’ve got to see this XXXL Bane tee (and the rest of your shop). Thanks for the support.

  3. how many entries have you guys seen so far?

  4. b. murphy says:

Not as many as we want! A few people have told us they are cooking up ideas still, so we aren’t worried. Sounds like people are having fun with it.

5000 already? Kerry Park in Seattle, pretty vacant at night but there’s plenty of people to see it throughout the day. I hope this wins the stack of tees or at least something! http://twitpic.com/5o19i2
