Morning Again

Remember Immigrant Sun Records?

Probably not.

Unless you are pretty well versed on mid 90s Northern NY vegan mosh metal, you probably missed this whole scene (despite the fact that Morning Again was from Florida). Maybe not a terrible thing. But certainly a slice of the scene worth noting. It was AFTER Earth Crisis’s big heyday. Not coat tail riding, but certainly after the circus had left town.

Here’s a fun fact, Immigrant Sun Records was still a record label in 2009. Holy shit, who knew? Sadly, the site currently has very little information on it, check it out. I checked the 2009 lineup and cannot tell you a single thing about any of those bands. I take that back. Slingshot Dakota is a chill indie group with a female vocalist. I can dig that band. Mind you, NOTHING like Morning Again.

Seller claims the shirt has coffee stains. I’m pretty sure Morning Again would claim coffee is NOT straight edge. Sadly, I can’t verify that.

Everyone in Europe that was around from the mid-90s on knows Morning Again, this shirt looks like it could be a Good Life Records shirt. The label reissued The Cleanest War (?) and EP on a CD called Hand Of Hope or something and sold a lot of those.

Yeah, that’s definitely the Goodlife Recordings “Hand of Hope” design. I still have a hoody of it.

  3. I was looking for a cheap Joshua CD this morning. I saw a lot of good shows in Ithica. The Suicide U Community Room.
