No X’s, No Buys.

I’m not gonna pretend for ten seconds that I think this Supreme YOT “tribute” joint being sold by gimmerecords10 is cool, but I’m sure there are plenty of people out there who get a kick out of these, so I’m posting it anyways…

How you gonna make a shirt that says YOUTH CREW and then leave the X off the fist? I mean, I get stripping the X off, even though it’s lame, but it’s not like Youth Crew was any less of a Straight Edge thing. Maybe I’m just the wrong guy to be posting about this. Were YOT even involved with this the way Civ and others were with those Hundreds shirts, or is this more along the lines of those random Judge and Integrity streetwear rip offs? When I try to Google up some research I just get a bunch of Supreme Court cases…

I don’t wanna knock SUPREME to hard as they’re one of the O.G.’s of the street wear game BUT…For me personally, I don’t back ANY street wear company that tries to eat by making hardcore “knock offs”. But thanks for bastardizing my youth, Ya fuckin’ wiggers. L@Lz!

i heard that somehow Rick Rodney was involved with FUCKING AWESOME, the dudes who did the Integrity ripoff. Dwid considers it a bootleg, and thinks it sucks.

I got this in grey when it came out, I think it’s cool.

I 99.9% of this shit sucks, I hate it when you say something negative about Supreme and peoples responce was ” they had roots in hardcore and punk ” and that’s supposed to be ok. Just because you used to be part of something doesn’t mean your intitled to anything now.

Rick Rodney used to run Foreign Family, and definitely has his streetwear ties. Fucking Awesome is run by skater Jason Dill, so i’m sure the two must have linked in some way, being from LA and all.
