Seriously, who is Drew Ferry and what is comestolife talking about? “Bought it at this is hardcore 2009 but it has Drew Ferry’s name on it so I wont wear it.” That doesn’t even make sense. Why buy a shirt but never wear it? I don’t get it.
I caught The Rival Mob last night. Peanuts and Rival Mob. Good combo. After the gig, the dudes sweated it off the stage and hit outside. It was dumb hot in the Crane Room. I was near the merch table, saw some kids waiting to buy merch, but no one to buy it from. So I sold Rival Mob merch. Pretty amusing. That’s what core kids do. We help each other out. I can’t wait for the new longsleeve to hit ebay because I have a store of jokes lined up. I’m sure it’ll be soon enough. As long as people are buying shirts to not wear them, it’ll happen.

Drew is the guitar player for mother of mercy. At Sound and Fury 09 he was stabbed in the face during the Rival Mobs set and have to have medical attention. They made these shirts ( the first Rival Mob shit I believe, unless you count the hand made one Pat Flynn made ) and the proceeds went to Drew. That’s core unity .

I believe this shirt also has “Mob rules all” – Drew Ferry written on one of the sleeves. Easily the best colorway for this design. FUN FACT: At TIH 2009, when these shirts were first unveiled, Brendan said how they’re not a “merch band”. Fast forward to 2011…
