Fact: Sinead has twice caused controversy with Saturday Night Appearances. In 1990 she refused to star along side Andrew Dice Clay because, well, he’s Andrew Dice Clay. Immediately following her song during a 1992 appearance she ripped up a photograph of the Pope in protest of sexual abuse in the Catholic church. Good for her.
