Hello. I’m trying to figure out if this is real? I purchased it 11 years off of eBay. It was advertised as a 1993 Sliver promo tshirt.
It has a Giant by Tultex tag with the USA/Jamaica text on the tag. It has double stitching on the arms and the waist. It’s in very good condition for the year if it’s real.
It had some small pin holing on the back maybe from age? I do not believe the shirt has ever been worn, could be wrong about that. The image on the front is slightly misaligned.
What I don’t see is the “Copyright 1993 under use” text that is under the image of many of them for sale on eBay.
What do you the think? Thanks!

Re: 1993 Nirvana Sliver shirt
If you know for sure that you purchased this 11 years ago, then there's zero concern, because that far pre-dates the fake tag era of the late 2010s.
The tag did initially look a bit off, but it does not match any of the fake Nirvana Giant Tultex tags we have indexed:
https://www.defunkd.com/fake-tag-archive/#giant-2
I compared it verses a legit copy and aside from what appears to be a lessor thread count (which could just be a great photo with extra lighting) everything checks out.
Can you take one more shot of it from an angle? Just want to make sure the flame aka "i" is raised.
There can be various reasons for a lack of copyright.

Re: 1993 Nirvana Sliver shirt Giant by Tultex
Here are some more images of the tag and measurements.
The fabric looked a bit off in the first images from the sun coming through the blinds I think.
I double checked and I purchased this shirt in 2015. I do not recall any of the Giant fakes you see on there now when I bought it. There seem to be many reproductions of it now. The prices were much lower then.
Thank you for the help!

If it's truly from 2015, 100% a-ok.
I can see by the raised flame the tag is ok.
Does anyone have a second opinion?

Re: 1993 Nirvana Sliver shirt Giant by Tultex
I noticed the "care/content over" text isn't there, perhaps because the label is sewn too deep, but I'm sure this is a genuine tag, and looking at the screen printing details doesn't raise any suspicions. What's more, you bought it a long time ago.
Its legit
