Every so often we feature an interesting vintage clothing piece that’s currently up for grabs on eBay. Please inform us if you create or discover an auction we might like by posting a link to the listing on our forum.

Item: vintage 1940s pre-runner Champion Jacket

Brand: Champion

Sold By: brokenheartvintage

What the Seller Says: You’re looking at: An EXTREMELY RARE AUTHENTIC 30s/40s Champion PRE-goal runner tag printed high school jacket from the St. Francis De Sales High School Friars in Utica, New York.

What we Say: We’re not sure if there is such a thing as a pre-runner tag or if Champion even existed in the 30s? Please chime in below if you know. This could be a 1950s tag that was streamlined for usage on a line of casual jackets. Either way a beautiful piece with a real swell color scheme.

Final Price: $73.99

Yeah Id say 50′s as well judging by the label and the zipper. 2-tone is good. Id guess 75-125.

do you have a close up picture of the champion label on this jacket. I have a gabardine ‘champion’ jacket which I believe is 1940′s. I am trying to find an item to compare the labels.
