15 Most Expensive T-Shirts Sold on eBay in 2025

2025 is in the books, and these are the highest t-shirt sales on eBay of all of 2025. It was the year of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Butthole Surfers tees, as we saw more of their designs in the bi-weekly top 10 than any other. Vintage Sonic Youth tees also had a huge bounce-back year, along with Smashing Pumpkins – and it’s no surprise the highest-selling t-shirt in 2025 goes to the always top-selling Mosquitohead tees.

Then we saw a late-year surge from Eminem tees, so maybe 2026 will be the year of Slim Shady, but until then, Happy New Year!

Some ground rules before we get into the list:

I don’t personally authenticate these t-shirts, nor does Defunkd, but you can use our forum to get your goodies checked.
I do my best to confirm the transaction is real, but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a shill bid or returned. If a sale looks too fishy, I leave it off the list.
These are eBay sales only since we have tools to verify the sale price. Private sales aren’t a part of this list at the moment.
Tiebreakers go to the tee I find the most interesting.
I’m limiting the number of Nirvana tees, as they are ever-present as top sellers. (Dope tee, but as you’ll see today they make the lists too repetitive! But you can go check out Defunkd’s list of the most valuable Nirvana tees)
