Welcome to A Special Heat Check. These are the highest-selling vintage Nintendo t-shirts on eBay over the last 3 years. From the NES to the game Cube and Mario to Zelda, vintage Nintendo t-shirts are as collectible as the video games themselves and sometimes even rarer!
Some ground rules before we get into the list:
- I don’t personally authenticate these t-shirts, nor does Defunkd, but you can use our forum to get your goodies checked.
- I do my best to confirm the transaction is real, but that doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a shill bid or returned.
- These are eBay sales only since we have tools to verify the sale price. Private sales aren’t included on this list at the moment.
- Tiebreakers go to the tee I find the most interesting.
- I’m limiting the number of Nirvana Heart Shaped Box tees, as they are ever-present as top sellers. But you can go check out Defunkd’s list of the most valuable Nirvana tees)
- No tee will repeat back-to-back weeks.
- We’ve temporarily retired from the list MOST tees from Nirvana, Marilyn Manson, and 3d Emblem as they are so routinely on the top 10 it would get too repetitive.
